Kathy was cutting up watermelon for an Independence Day bbq, which is so very July 4th. Which made me think of how independence day celebrates, of course, the official triumph of our brave and independent forefathers, which led me to think of independent thinkers in general, which led me to how some thinkers get on boats and leave the mother country for a new homeland, while other independent thinkers leave jobs, well, because, the boss is an idiot–OH, and let’s face it–not all employees should be great at independent thinking, and many independent thinkers don’t necessarily make great employees (Not talking about anyone in particular, buuuut, this guy greatly prefers to be the boss…just sayin’) which led me to thinking of other employees who may or may not have been really really good employees, but may make great business owners, which made me think of the best marinated, bbq chicken I ever had in my life maybe, at an Independence Day bbq a couple years ago, which made me think of new business owners and former employees, Chef Rob Jean and Bartender-Server-Host-Charmer-Tale Teller Chris Normandin–two friends who recently braved the world of independence and business ownership, and opened PIG TALES in Nashua NH, which made me think of how incredible that food must be there (no, really, really incredible), and, how affable the environment will be, and that made me think that affability goes wasted on a quiet restaurant, which made me remember how challenging summer time can be to groom business, which made me think of YOU.
YOU, as an independent thinker, as an American, and a lover of great food and charming personality (duh, you read this shit!)…must exercise your freedoms to have a great time, while, supporting two guys with the balls to do it their way. They are on Facebook. They are on Rte 101A, a few lights heading west, on the right, from Exit 7 off Route 3. Look for the really cool orange awning.
Try everything. Seriously. I’m going to…
